The International Primary Curriculum (IPC) is a framework for learning with comprehensive materials and a defined progressive pedagogy created for learners, teachers and leaders, enhanced by professional development and support services from the International Curriculum Association (ICA).
In IPC students are engaged in different thematic Units of Learning designed to appeal to their interests and help them to learn more about the world around them. These Units of Learning help students to see how subjects such as Art, Geography, History, ICT and Computing, Music, PE, Science, Society, Technology, Language and Mathematics are connected and linked. This helps them to see the big picture of their learning, make connections across different subjects, and understand topics and issues in the world from multiple perspectives. The curriculum is dedicated to developing learners who are confident, responsible, innovative and engaged.
