Rivers and lakes in Malaysia are increasingly polluted with floating trash, harming wildlife, plants, and even humans. Manual cleaning is often slow, unsafe, and labor-intensive. Motivated to create a safer and more efficient solution, a team of Primary 5 students from Sekolah Rendah Paragon explored how technology could help clean water bodies effectively.
Through their creativity and teamwork, they developed the ๐๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ญ, a low-cost and eco-friendly robot designed to collect rubbish from rivers and lakes. The robot uses recyclable materials and lego parts as the main body, and features a fun, remote-control functionality that makes cleaning engaging. Its design is scalable, making it suitable for larger water bodies and potential mass production.
